We decided that the day before Todd started school, that we both deserved a break and a day of some FUN together! Since they seem to be few and far between! So we went to the coast... about an hour and 15 minutes away! A luxury we haven't had before from Utah! Not too many pictures because I didn't want to take my camera down on the beach! It was a nice, relaxing day! The water of course was freezing, but the weather was gorgeous it was mid 80's and the sunshine was out!

This is Cannon Beach! It's pretty busy obviously, we will have to drive a little further next time to avoid so many tourists, since we can pretend we're not tourists now! We went to Manzanita Beach back in June and loved it!
Thought our escape from daily reality was worthy of posting before I post all the beginning of school pictures!! Which we look forward to as the next 3 year adventure!
