7 months!

So I accidentally missed the 6 month "what she's up to's" only the half way point.  No big deal right?  Well I blame it on deciding to just enjoy it instead of worrying about documenting it!

This is a little before she turned 7 months, but I love this picture!

  • 7 month stats: 19 lbs 13.5 oz, 27 3/4 in, in the 95% for both.
  • She loves her Mom and Dad and cries when we walk out of the room, even for a second.
  • She has started to really get around she can pull herself around on the ground and get anywhere she wants to!  She can't crawl on her knees yet, but she gets up on her hands and knees all the time then falls on her stomach when she tries to move forward.
  • She is a HUNGRY little girl. I don't think she's ever given me a sign that she's not longer hungry so I'm always just guessing what I think should be enough.
  • She  is sleeping a little better at night, I have been feeding her more before bed and it seems to hold her an extra hour or 2.  Hopefully longer soon.
  • She LOVES to jump in her new jumperoo!   Thanks Grandma Bucher!
  • She can put little pieces of bread or graduates in her mouth, often its still in her fist but she gets it in.  Food seems to make her happy!
  • At night when we're feeding her in her high chair she laughs so hard at the silliest things so we do it over and over again because we can't get enough and she gets all 3 of us laughing so hard!
  • Her darling hair is still standing straigh up, just getting longer!
  • She is wearing 6-9 month outfits mostly, but fits in a lot of her 12 month.
  • She will fall asleep on her own... sometimes just by laying her down.
  • She still has quite a cry, almost daily or more than once a day she'll just look at one of us and pull out her pouty little bottom lip and let out this cute, but sad sad cry with real big tears and all.
  • We like to read with her and she likes it a little but mostly she just likes to grab at the books the whole time.
  • She is eating cereal/formula, most fruits/veggies (baby food), wheat bread, graduates and still nursing.
  • She LOVES when we give her a drink of water from a regular glass, but always wants to hold it herself.
  • She still loves to go out, I guess she knows how much there is to see out there and is much happier if we go out during the day.
  • She doesn't like to be left in a room by herself, the only time I can pull it off with out her crying is if she's entranced by her jumperoo and doesn't remember to wonder where I am.
  • She always wants to kick her feet against something, if there is something by her feet she will be kicking it, if there isn't she will get so there is something so she can kick it, esp. including us (in fact she's kicking me right now!)
  • She makes lots of new sounds all the time, and lately has enjoyed lots of grunting and groaning.  Along with really high pitched excited sounds.
  • She gives the cutest gummy smile and puts her gums close together and squints her eyes and really cheeses it!  So cute.
  • She is always spitting and blowing with her lips together, we think it's so funny.  And sometimes she'll do it against her arm, or Daddy's face or whatever happens to be there.
  • She puts her hands together in a fist and hits them at her face (lips) like a hammer.
  • She's still cute as a button, and we love her more everyday.
  • She is really becoming a major part of our lives, a part we would never want to give up!  She's our little Gracie girl, and many many other names (Daddy has endless names for her).
  • She still loves her baths and loved her first time swimming.
